  1. NOAA hires a magician

I realiise that John King is a right wing partisan, but this evening's report broke all limits. I mean really – to report that the NOAA wants ot hire a magician for a conference as if it was news? Oh please. Why not report on every time a senator hires a magician for a birthday party, The report didn't even know how much a magician might cost. If you've ever hired a magician you know it's not much.

I know this is an election year and the right wing will pounce on any silly thing they think they can make an issue. But really. Grow up.

  2. Charlotte Coombes

I watched Pres. Obama speak at a high school this morning.
I am upset that he distorts or lies about the issues he presents,
today it was student loans. i have looked into student loans and the
claims that he is making are not aaccurate or they are distorted or only
partially presented. The interest on student loans has been lower than
it is now. Sen Obama voted not to extend the lower interest rate in 2007.
The Obama Administration could have passed the lower rate when they
had a super majority in 2009-2010. The structure of Student Loans will change
when the portion of Obama Healthcare that takes over Student loans becomes effective.
Adults can use experience and education to judge a poloticians lies, Highschool student
are at a disadvantage. They can relate to lowere education costs because it effects them.
Can they analysis the issue to udnerstand that the student loan program has contrubuted to the
higher tuition fees? I don't think so. Please keep him honest.
    Thank you.
