Congressman Brian Bilbray (R-CA), CNN Contributor Dana Loesch and CNN's John King discuss if the GOP presidential candidates have shifted more towards the center in their immigration policies than in previous campaigns.
Mr John King stop ghettoizing opponents of Amnesty for Illegal Aliens as just being conservative. Opposition to amnesty is a mainstream position shared by most conservatives and moderates and some liberals in America. They are not happy that in a deep Recession 7 to 8 million illegals are illegally holding American jobs that could be going to American citizens. Let's be honest with the folks, those supporting Amnesty are composed mainly of Big Business interests, Special Interest groups, and Liberal Democratic activists who are selfishly seeking personal political gain from this situation. If an overwhelming majority of the illegal aliens and the special interest groups supporting them were Republican or Republican leaning, the Democratic Party would be a staunch opponent of illegal immigration arguing that illegal immigration hurt poor and working class American citizens.
Your daily destination for political news. Join John each night as he pulls back the curtain on Washington, cuts through the partisan noise, and gets to the bottom of stories that affect you.
