Why are people so very outraged about the Penn State abuse case? Other cases involving more kids and worse abuse have resulted in less outrage. Similar cases have been reported in the past week and barely been reported. So why the virulent outrage about this one case?

Also when is the media going to begin questioning the government case? Based on media reports, the following groups or people knew of at least on case of abuse and did little:
    – the family of one victim
    – a public school principal and school counselors
    – a District Attorney
    – the 2nd Mile Foundation
    – 4 Penn State officials
    – the police

Yet not one of these people sought criminal charges. Maybe it was a giant conspiracy among people who didn't know each other. Or maybe the government is wrong.

Remember the Duke Lacrosse Player case? Maybe the Penn State accusations are accurate. Maybe many people failed their duty. Maybe this is as despicable as it seems.

But maybe the government is just over zealous.
