CNN's John King and a panel discuss Rep. Issa's accusation that Atty. Gen. Holder lied about operation Fast and Furious.
So the Attorney General is going to be charged with perjury. WHAT A SURPRISE this will be to CNN viewers, who have been kept in the dark about the entire Fast & Furious scandal for the past year or so. I assume CNN will finally deem this newsworthy when the Justice Department and most of the law enforcement agencies of this country basically implode because of this most egregious abuse of power, mixed with corruption and ties to the Mexican drug cartels. But I do see 4 (count'em 4!) headlines on the bogus "OWC" protests, which are totally synthetic and funded by ACORN and the unions. Why are you still trying to protect this incompetent and corrupt administration when you know it will all come out despite your best efforts at helping to cover it up? We can see right through you, CNN!
Why does this discussion completely neglect to mention that Mr Holder received multiple briefs on the Fast and Furious program well before the scandal broke. This fact is at the crux of Mr Issa's accusations of lying. Holder maintains he only learned of 2000 plus firearms being allowed to pass into cartel hands after the scandal broke in recent months. Given documented prior briefs...this smells of a lie.
Rep. Issa if there is somecredible evidence appoint a special prosecutor to look into it.
Boy, this is sure reminiscent of Iran-Contra deal. Eric Holder should be fired, and President Obama should be impeached–period. Of course we know how this will play out already, don't we? A few lower people will end up taking the rap, ONLY to be subsequently pardoned by the next incoming administration. Obama and Holder need to do some some prison time.
