DCCC and CREEP Want My Money to Re-Elect President Romney’s Econ Team

RedState.Com Editor Erick-Woods Erickson:

– Newt Gingrich's campaign is over. He soldiers on, relaunching from Los Angeles where I can only imagine he is having an animatronics team of campaign staff built.

– Newt's departure gives full buzz to a Perry 2012 campaign. I'm told by people close to Perry that he probably will get in, but it is not as done a deal as some are suggesting. If he gets in, his entry helps Romney short term. It keeps the anti-Romney front-runner in limbo and consequently keeps anti-Romney money on the sidelines.

– Democrats seem to be snickering about a possible Perry bid. They shouldn't. The majority of jobs created in Barack Obama's economy have been created in Rick Perry's Texas. That's nothing to snicker about.
