Be in the know: Today's political bullet points

Every day we ask influential politicos to send us their top three bullet points that are driving the day's conversation inside and outside Washington.

– Senate conservatives come out with more funding for Medicare than even Barack Obama and still manage to balance the budget. By the way, the big issue here is that both the Republican Study Committee and Pat Toomey fund the "doc fix" while Paul Ryan and Barack Obama do not.

– Iowa donors went to New Jersey to get Chris Christie into the race. He wants to be drafted. Will this be his excuse?
