CNN's Jessica Yellin asks former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson why he thinks he can stand out as a 2012 GOP candidate.
One of the few candidates who isn't a celebrity politician. Unlike the others, Johnson would stick to his guns if he was elected. Hopefully he'll go far in 2012.
At the very least, pay close attention to what this man says and his track record. Listen to his ideas and notice how different he is. He is worth serious consideration and, at the very least, I hope he will have a serious impact on the national debate. I even hold out real hope that he will take the Republican nomination and seriously challenge our current president.
Some will say that is impossible, but they said that before he went on to be a popular governor in a state that is 2/3 democrat for two terms. Most would have thought Barack Obama to be an impossible candidate at one time as well.
