Tim Hetherington was a champion of those with no voice. A man of compassion, truth and light. His determination to excel in his chosen field was matched only by his courageous spirit, which will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him and loved him. Rest in peace Tim.

Dear John King....i am a Navy veteran and until today i didn't even know Tim Hetherington exsisted...but when i heard of his passing something tugged on me deep down inside...Martin Luther King Jr stated and i quote "...."In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends"...i truly believe this gentleman will be missed...and from one Veteran to his family i just want to say thank you for raising a son so dedicated to mankind!!!
