WHY DOES THE COST OF THE MILITARY

I don't know why GOPs are insatiable. Before, they were crying that Obama should act. Now that Obama has won UN's permission to act with coalitions, some GOP's are crying again. What kind of Pharisaic life are we seeing in this country? I think, it is time for American people to ignore Lugar and his barba-seat position towards Libyan issue. These guys are just unappeasable; American people must ignore GOP's unsympathetic politicization of Libyan problems.

Here we go again. Politicizing an important global event. Where was Lugar when Bush went into Iraq? So he thinks the President should lay out in great detail what the US and the other allies planned to do in Libya? Why not just send the total campaign details in triplicate to Gaddafi so he an plan what to do. I suggest you send Lugar as a CNN corespondent to the front line so he can report back to his colleagues exactly what is happening!

I remember in the news by Senator McClain saying we should have gotten involve earlier and the President acted to late.

Now he has acted and the drums on capitol hill by the republicans is now they dont understand the mission.

I do understand the mission and it is to enforcing the UN message to protect the Libyan citizens from a dictator who was killing his own people. So lets stop dividing the country and move on we are helping the Libyan people and the President was acting like the British and French Presidents......

Poor mister Lugar was held by his hand by Obama and hold just what was happening. I for one think we are on the right track here. All to often we lay our cards on the table for the world to see. Then we get the he said she said,,,, Stop the bull,,, go get the man ,,, put him out of bussines ,,,,

If you are going to show remote sensing images, such as the thermal images of the Fukushima Daiichi power plants that were just shown, PLEASE find someone who understands remote sensing to explain what is being shown. The talking head who was trying to interpret the images clearly had no idea about image resolution, subpixel detection, or any of the other aspects of the data. His interpretation was uninformed and more importantly, misguided and dangerous.

    Mr. King:

I watched your interview with both a sense of amusement and confusion. It of course is not surprising to see politicians use mental gymnastics based on which party is taking action, but the hypocrascy is always surprising. The omplicity of the press is the source of my confusion. Senator Lugar voted for action in Afganistan for President
Bush without a declaration of War, It was taken as kind of a blank check by Pres. Bush. I didn't see him criticizing the president about an unprovoked attack on Iraq. Why didn't you ask him about his position now versus those two actions which were not declared wars either. You seem some what on both sides of the this issue. Criticising the President for not acting earlier but also supporting those who want to attack the President for not declaring war. The main point seems to be in criticism of the administration. Is that for ratings or a real dialogue on this issue. In a dialogue though I would expect both sides of an issue to be provided.
