(CNN) – Hours after his contributor arrangement was suspended by Fox News Channel, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum will appear live on CNN's "John King, USA." The show airs at 7 p.m. ET.
Santorum, who is considered a likely candidate for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, was a contributor for Fox since 2007. Tonight's interview on CNN will be his first television appearance since his contract was suspended.
Fox News suspended Santorum's contract earlier today, and will terminate his contract on May 1 if Santorum chooses to make a bid for the presidential nomination.
This man is scary. Period.
I cant believe this member of the American Taliban (Santorum) is being given air time.
Santorum? Really-apparently anyone voting for him, was never poor, self-employed or middle class in Pennsylvania or they would NOT vote for him. Pennsylvania NEVER benefited from him being in office – he never voted the way Pa wanted just Wall Street and BIG buisness!Tax Tax Tax was his answer to any problem.
Rick Santorum is not qualified to become President of the United States. He does not represent the interests of all Americans, and he specifically does not support the military veterans of this country, and especially, female veterans of the United States Armed Forces. He personally denied a request to allow a former U.S. Army Veteran who served honorably in World War II as a nurse to receive compassionate care in the same Veteran 's Hospital where she served after the war caring for U.S. war veterans for 30 years. The same VA hospital where both of his parents worked. This woman committed her life to caring for veterans of this country, and Santorum denied her the same care and treatment that she provided to countless American veterans. Rick Santorum does not represent the interests of anyone but himself. He needs to explain to the Amercian public why he does not support U.S. military veterans, and why he is predjudiced against female citizens of this country. How does he dare presume that he is qualified to become "Commander-in-Chief" without their support?
