Be in the know: Today's political bullet points

Everyday we ask influential politicos to send us their top three bullet points that are driving the day's conversation in and outside Washington.

RedState.Com Editor Erick-Woods Erickson:

– GOP votes to ban earmarks and loads up the Omnibus with earmarks.

– Bart Stupak gets a congressional earmark to fund a memorial scholarship for his son. It was a tragic situation, but it sure must be nice to have taxpayers raise the money for a memorial scholarship fund.

– Nevada has become a Pacific Coast state. The state is eligible to receive upwards of $80 million for restoring the Pacific salmon population under the Omnibus spending bill.

Republican Leader, John Boehner (cry baby) is as phony as a
three dollar bill and the National Debt. He cares about little
children , but he doesn't want their parents to have the 25
    essentials for living.

THERE ARE 25 ESSENTIALS FOR LIVING

FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER, AUTOMOBILE, ELECTRICITY, WATER, AIR CONDITION, STOVE, REFRIGERATOR, DISHWASHER, WASHER, DRYER, TV
SET, COMPUTER, INTERNET, TELEPHONE, VIDEO DISC PLAYER, RADIO, FURNITURE, HEALTH-CARE, LINENS & THINGS, BATH ROOM, TOILET PAPER,
HOUSE FULL OF IMPORTS FROM CHINA, AND A JOB OR INCOME THAT WILL PAY FOR THESE ESSENTIALS. THE PHILOSOPHY OF MIXTURISM AND
THE FIVE FINGER AGENDA WILL MAKE ALL POSSIBLE AND MORE.
