Bring home the Troops and that will save a bundle of money. How much does it cost per day, to keep the Troops in Afghanistan?
Government personnel like Senator Lindsey Graham are out-of-touch with reality; Graham wants the U.S. to have a permanent home in Afghanistan. I suggest he move there, then!
Bring those WAR Dollars home and secure our porous borders; that will save a TON of money – every single day.
It's time for the Government to invest in high-tech steel mills; we need to re-do infrastructure; we need a high-speed rail system; there are so many things America NEEDS. This will put America back to work – and eventually someone American Corporation will come along and purchase said "high-tech steel mills" from Government and life will go on. I think this is a much better idea than watching zillions of Dollars literally vaporize before our very eyes like it did in Iraq and now in Afghanistan.
Senator Lindsey Graham is common example of the way Republicans think. Republicans start wars because they don't have a clue how to create long term, sustainable business. The only business Republicans understand is the war machine and they could give a rats ass what happens when People come back, broken. I have a friend whose son came back from Vietnam – and he's still BROKEN. What other example do you need? Look at all the BROKEN People that have come back from Iraq; a place we NEVER should have been; Thank you Mr. Republican; Thank you Mr. Cheney; Thank you Mr. Bush!
The upper 2% are not going to create new jobs; they don't have to – they are RICH!!!!! Get rid of their tax breaks! They haven't created any jobs with the current "incentive" and they don't intend too.
