Be in the know: Today's political bullet points

Everyday we ask influential politicos to send us their top three bullet points that are driving the day's conversation in and outside Washington.

First, a happy and safe Thanksgiving to all. Spend an extra few minutes with whoever it is that brings the
biggest smile to your face, and remember it IS better to give than to get – so also find that person whose day you will make better with a call or a visit. It is also never too late to make a donation, in goods or a few bucks or some volunteer time, to the food banks in such high demand this holiday season. On to the bullet points: I’m laughing at Erick’s No. 1, unsure if he tenderizes his bird with pat downs or cooks it in the microwave. Neither, of course; we know Mr. Erickson to be a traditionalist! Yes, be thankful for a little hyperbole in our politics (from time to time). His No. 3 is a succinct assessment of a worrisome standoff on the Korean peninsula. That Jane and Erick are in agreement over the TSA’s tactics speaks volumes. And her No. 2 is yet another glaring example of the economic divide – and disconnect – between Wall Street and Main Street. Economic angst is the driving force in our politics today, and likely for many tomorrows. Again, Happy Thanksgiving. – John King

RedState.Com Editor Erick-Woods Erickson:

– Happy Thanksgiving. If you ever wanted to know what it feels like to be the Thanksgiving turkey, go through security at the airport. This story just won't go away.

– China and Russia are dropping the dollar. I thought Barack Obama was going to make us more respected in the world.

– The North Korean situation is heating up, but until we figure out how to deal with China we cannot deal effectively with North Korea. Blogger/Founder Jane Hamsher:
