Santorum raises $1 million in past 24 hours; website sees boost after wins

(CNN) – The day after winning big in Missouri, Minnesota and Colorado, Rick Santorum’s campaign said they received an overwhelming response online, at one point seeing their website crash because of high volume.

A source with the campaign said Santorum’s website received twice as much traffic Wednesday as the day following the Iowa caucuses, which Santorum ultimately won.

    I hope Romney gets the nomination. He's the best man the GOP has. Santorum is too extreme, Gingrich isn't moral, and Ron Paul (although I like him) is a little off the bell curve.

    I think Romney needs a good body-language and speech coach. Too much of that scary "deer in the headlights" look. Get rid of the stress and get tough. He comes off like a little boy who's wandered too far from home.

    Did you not realize the man introducing the CPAC is a white supremist who said that diversity is hurting America? It's interesting that neither CNN nor the candidates have disavowed CPAC. I understand Michelle Bachmann. She doesn't know anything about slavery, but you're an educated newsman. Why isn't CNN investigating this?
