    John...
Your comments this afternoon (pacific time) on Bob Jones' remarks concerning the President's Christianity were golden.
I applaud your courage to lay down some obvious Biblical facts which expose the hypocricy of those Evangelicals who would openly dispute the President's faith. Were Jesus walking in our midst today, many of these "Christians" could well be seen rejecting him as both a liberal and a socialist because of his deep concerns for those in poverty, his disdain for the wealthy and his urging of his followers to share what they had for the good of all. Unfortunately today, we see numbers of "Christians" who have either wrapped thier faith in political dogma or their political dogma in their faith. Christ had no interest in politics, even urged his followers to respect those in authority over them as they were there at the discretion of God. He urged his followers to pay their taxes and instructed "judge not that ye be not judged". If we are truly following in the footsteps of the Master, there will be little time for bashing the faith of others.

How relavant are straw polls? It seems that every time I read about one, Ron Paul has won it. Are they so unimportant that CNN, and the other "Main Stream" news sources don't mention them? Even though I'm a Democrat, and will more tan likely support President Obama, it appears that the News media is snubbing, or boycotting Ron Paul, when to many, actually most Republicans that I know, say they support, and will vote for Dr. Paul in the California Primary.
Those friends feel that he is being ignored because he won't take PAC money, and he supports a platform that is less Big Business, seeks a fairer tax system for the middle class, and wants to close the Corporate loop holes that encourage coruption (no taxes paid) by Business. when compared to the other Rebublican candidates He gets no mention. Why is that?
