CNN's Fareed Zakaria looks ahead at what the president hopes to accomplish during his upcoming trip to Asia.
While I agree with most of what Fareed Zakaria says in this video I think he is missing some points. China can sell their goods anywhere in the world. They do not need America. China could very well destroy America overnight by dumping those treasury bonds so in essence America needs China not the other way around.
America does not make enough products outside of agricultural goods and weaponry that other countries need and want. Most of the technology in the USA China can steal from the internet or buy a sample of it and then remanufacture at very low cost that America and others can not compete with. America has out priced it's products and has created such debt to other foreign countries that it is now dependent on begging and borrowing to keep the lights burning in Washington D.C. China is in the drivers seat and America is hanging on for dear life. America just had one downgrade and another is looming on the horizon because Washington refuses to cut spending. They have stolen all they can from Social Security with absolutely no way to pay the money they stole back so now they are looking at cutting benefits and extending the retirement age just to stay afloat. Money good honest people paid in and had rightful expectations to receive upon retirement.
America has some serious problems Fareed and if something does not change and soon in Washington then it is only a mater of time before the shaky economy crumbles.
