Mr. Strauss-Kahn has a history of sexual indiscretion, and having been married for three times points to some level of recklessness with women. From the nature of the incident in New York, it is fair to surmise that he is more than just a womanizer. The man needs to spend some time in prison and get some serious psychological help. He should not be allowed to easily walk away because of some extraneous legal technicality. With strong physical evidence that point to a violent sexual encounter, consensuality or credibility of the victim should not be issues in this case. None of the so called lies by the victim contradict any of the physical evidence. A lowly single mother from Guinea should be given a lot of leeway, and not be expected to live up to the sophistication of the most advanced legal system in the world.
