Everyday we ask influential politicos to send us their top three bullet points that are driving the day's conversation in and outside Washington:

- So much for Lisa Murkowski's write-in bid. In a new ad by her campaign, her name is misspelled. In a new poll by Rasmussen, Joe Miller beats Murkowski and the Democrat.

- Early word off Capitol Hill is that no one on the left or right will like the House Republicans' proposed agenda.

- Bloomberg reports the US is considered a less desirable place to invest than Brazil-Chian-India. That gives the GOP another issue to use against the Democrats and they will.

- President Obama gets nailed by exhausted supporter Velma Hardt in a CNBC town hall: In a statement of brutal honestly, Obama was forced to confront the voice of the squeezed middle class which feels the gap between the presidents’ promises and the continuing dysfunction in Washington DC.

- More Shoes Drop on O’Donnell Campaign: Last night, it was news that the candidate called homosexuality an ‘identity disorder’ as recently as 2006. Now Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics is calling her ‘clearly a criminal’ for misusing campaign funds. The ‘dabbling in witchcraft’ was just a sign of many things to come. Guess Karl Rove knew what he was talking about.

- The Swing State Standard: O’Donnell and Angle may alienate centrists, but the larger trend remains grim for Democrats. Obama won virtually all the swing states in 2008. Now take a look at the political map and see if you can find the swing states where Democrats are likely to gain or hold on to contested seats. Instead, they’re playing defense in old reliables like California. It doesn’t matter that the recession technically ended back in June – this problem looks baked in the cake.
