I believe we should keep drilling. It would be rediculous to stop drilling because of one incident. When a plane crashes we dont stop flying. We come up with regulations and suggestions.
People forget that after the Exxon Valdez many jobs were created as a result of the accident.
This will be the case here. New regulations will be enacted, new laws will be made; just like the OPA 90 act in direct result of the Valdez spill.

    John,

I have to tell you, I feel like wringing the neck of the head of BP. This is the epitome of irresponsibility.

First these idiots blame the people who operate the well.

Then the play the 'we'll pay for it' game in an effort to gain some measure of relenting the public backlash.

I, personally, cannot wait to buy an electric car. These idiots make some much money, hand over fist, yet these things seem to 'happen'.

I'm done with this continuous irresponsibility, arrogance and their money making. I'm completing siding with anyone attempting to help out the animals affected and will do my best to stop filling their pockets.

Drill Baby Drill? Our future children are picking up bills and spills. This is a testament to the Republicans lack of vision and true empathy. Why do Republicans prioritize money over there family. Don’t they understand that there families are going to reap what they are sowing.

I am so saddened that people seem to care only about their money and not the safety and protection of the living creatures on this earth. This oil spill is completely unacceptable and shows what greed and only a wish to prophet causes. The poor wildlife, the turtles, the dolphins, the manatees,...all of these were fine before man decided that his way was the right way..and look..it is slowly destroying all the life that was given to us on this earth. As Steven Hawking had mentioned, the fact that certain egotistic and violent tendancies had to be taken out of the human race if it would succeed...this is the sad, pathetic state that some humans have come to. BP is still not accepting blame for this tragedy. Please help the living creatures and plant life..and whether they understand the life cycle or not..if we do not take care of these things, there will be no more humans either.
